Eddie J. Fernandez
started off in the stunt business in 1981 in his hometown of Chicago. He spent his earlier years honing his martial arts, wrestling and motocross skills, among others, which would eventually lead him into his chosen profession, stuntwork. Eddie was ready to try or do anything adventurous, and that resulted in 1981 to his being on the set of Cannon Films' The Naked Face (1984). Since then Eddie has racked up over 300 films and TV credits, including such big action films as Backdraft (1991), Bad Boys II (2003), We Were Soldiers (2002) and his latest, The Alamo (2004). Three years ago Eddie made the transition from the Windy City to Hollywood and has established himself among Hollywood's top stuntman/performers. Eddie has coordinated stuntwork on several movies and television series, including Chicago Cab (1997), Early Edition (1996) and Untouchables, The (1993)

has earned respect by being one of the top Latino stuntmen in the world. His vast knowledge and experience on big budget films have earned him the reputation of being an expert in all areas of stunt performing, from fights to fire burns. Fernandez was one of the lead doubles on ‘Backdraft,’ where he exercised extensive fire work that helped make the project become the imminent fire film of all time. His skills in stunt driving, high work, fight choreography, wire work, and fire work, have made him an invaluable asset to over 300 film and television productions. Fernandez has established himself as a staple in the industry. Fernandez is also an accomplished actor who has been featured in shows including King Pin, CSI, Alias, 24, The Missing, Crash, etc.
